ABS, INC. contracts with many insurance companies at a much higher commission rate than an individual agent can acquire.  For example:  A major insurance company’s contract with ABS, INC. is for 135% of premium on a 20 and 30 year term.  By ABS, Inc.’s FORMULA, 131.63% of this goes into the AGENCY BUILDER SYSTEM on only the first $2880 of commission (Calculated at the GA level).  With this company, 100% (GA level) is paid directly by the insurance company to the writing agent when a policy is issued.  With this company, 20% is paid to the OVERRIDE account and OVERRIDES are paid to you monthly.  If you signed up 5 producers agents and they and all the agents below them for your 5 levels of organization did the same and they all produced the $2880, your override income for the year would be $196,416.00.

Commission above the GA $2880 level:  This is the GOOD part.  Once you write and place $2880 in commissions at the GA level, for the remainder of the year (calendar) all your commissions are above the GA level.  Most agents will qualify for the higher commissions the very first month.  If you write and place more than $2000 a month your commission will be 112% to 133% on most life products and a full 1% to 1.5% above GA on most annuities.

 Example:  Your commission is 100% of premium (target for UL) and you write a policy for $240 a month and it is placed (the first month is paid…the policy is issued) ($240 X 12 = $2880). You will qualify for the higher commissions for the remainder of the year.
